Our Baldwin students are regularly exposed to rigorous and robust programs of study along their educational journey. We have successfully introduced learning opportunities that are relevant and empowering based on the model of “Students as Producers” as well as the six C’s: creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, character and civic-mindedness.
BARBERING
Through a comprehensive overview of the Barbering industry, the program integrates classroom learning with hands-on laboratory experiences to cultivate academic knowledge, professional expertise, and skills for securing employment.
A collaboration with the Natural Diamond Council and Black in Jewelry Coalition, the new academy enables students to delve into all aspects of the jewelry industry, from benchwork to design to retail.
Through the Medical Administrative Assistant curriculum, students learn extensive medical office procedure, terminology, medical coding and billing, while engaging in work-based learning opportunities.
The Police Science program equips students with the essential skills and knowledge required for careers in police organizations and private security through a range of hands-on and practical experiences and coursework.
